My passion is creating effortlessly cool and versatile hairstyles that enhance people's unique features and style, regardless of their hair texture. I've been cutting and coloring my own hair since I was a child growing up in Colorado, and I turned this interest into a career by attending a vocational high school in Boulder in 2015. Later, I pursued formal training at the Aveda Institute, where I learned the art of cosmetology.
In 2022, I expanded my skill set by obtaining a barber license. This has allowed me to offer a wider range of services and techniques to my clients, including precision cuts and fades.
I've been fortunate to work with some amazing teams, such as the Aveda team led by Jon Reyman, at London Fashion Week. I've also volunteered and contributed my talents to local fashion shows and charity events, showcasing my editorial hair and makeup work, which has been featured in various publications.
My own hair texture struggles inspired me to specialize in working with all types of hair, especially those with curly or textured hair, which I didn't receive enough training for during my beauty school education. Through ongoing education, classes, and experimentation, I've developed a wealth of knowledge and techniques that I'm excited to share with everyone I meet.
When I'm not busy styling hair, you can find me enjoying my hobbies, such as thrift shopping, playing video games, or collaborating on a new photo shoot.
